Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara

When this mascara was first released I was quiet curious, it seemed very good for such a cheep makeup brand. I didn't buy it though as I had a mascara that was in need of using up, but when I saw it in poundland I just couldn't resist. The RRP is £4.99, you can find it in Boots, Superdrug, any place that sell Collection 2000. I noticed they had the waterproof one too but I find it hard to remove waterproof mascara so I just picked up the ordinary one. I could only see a Black one but im sure they do brown too.

The wand has two sides with different length brushes, the short side reminded me of Max Factors False Lash Effect, which is my favorite mascara of all time. The longer end I was a bit cautious of as I have long lashes without mascara and I didn't want them to look to long. The first coat would usually be enough for me but for this post I wanted to show you what it would look like with two as well.

No mascara
1 Coats
2 Coats
I thought the packaging looks quiet expensive for a 'drugstore' brand, however the skyscraper makes it seem a little cheesy. the shape of the bottle is nice and I like the colour scheme. It would have been nice with less text on the bottle for even more of a simplistic feel.

Overall I do really like this mascara, not too sure if i would pay £4.99 but for £1 I really cant complain! The formula is nice and doesn't flake and the brush is really nice. Could this be my new favorite mascara? Let me know if you like it?

Daisy Nails!

Since the sun has finally come out in England I thought that I should take this opportunity to get a little bit floral! I love daisy's and to be honest I think they're my favorite flower. They are also really simple to create on your nails. I used a striper and dotting tool to make the flower and spots. The Green background is Barry M Mint Green, it took two/three coats to make the shade opaque which is quiet good. It costs £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug or online. The idea originated from a Cath Kidston design I saw on YouTube but I didn't like the flowers so I changed them. I did the flowers first then the spots. I think the spots really made this look cute and fun.

Thanks, Tasha xx

Olympic Torch Nails!

Hey guys! So the Olympic torch is working its way around the UK and tomorrow is the turn of my area. Sadly I have to go to school for the day right up to just before the torch when were aloud to go and see it. As I'm in school the rule is no nail varnish, yes I know just how ridiculous! But I have to follow these rules so I opted for a simple discrete french with a cute accent nail. We do get away with french tips as It isn't really nail varnish.

I used No7 Tip Whitener for the white tip and Rimmel London, Lycra Pro French Manicure in 445 French Rose for the pink. The actual torch was painted using Sure Promise nail art pens, they are unnamed. It was very simple and quick to do which is handy considering I had a bit of homework to catch up on. The design is upside down in the picture btw! :)

Flower accent Manicure

Hi guys, I wore this manicure to school last week. I received so so so many compliments so I wanted to show you what it looks like!
It was really simple to achieve, all you do is a simple french manicure, then paint a star shape. Them line around it and do small lines in the center. Finish the flower with a black dot in the center and a green stem. i also added a glitter top coat (George - Jackpot) but this is optional as it looks nice without.

Glitter Maniaa!

Hey guys, I wore this manicure a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVED it! Every time I caught a glimpse of them in the light I just stared at them, they looked beautiful! The first colour I used (Base colour) was Barry M, Berry Ice Cream. I love this pastel shade it is very light yet pretty. It did take 2 coats as it is quiet sheer and you could still see through which is why the glitter came out! The Glitter with the hearts is Nicole by OPI, Step 2 The Beat of my Heart (From the Justin Bieber Collection) it also has tiny specks of holographic glitter. The next glitter is the hexagonal pink/purple, its from a brand called Easy Paris in shade 140. The next  one is the glitter stripes, its Claire's but has no name. The bottle looks really pretty and the glitter is holographic too. The final glitter is the green/gold/pink hexagonal pieces which is another unnamed Claire's one. Finally I just applied George Matt Finish.

Colour Combo - MUA shade 18 & Essie Pearly White

The Colour Combo that I came up with to day is a very subtle one, you could wear it for school work or a formal occasion. The shades used were MUA Shade 18 (a french manicure pink) and Essie Pearly White (Not 100% sure on the name as it was one from TKMax). Both are sheer natural colours and looked perfect for making plane nails a little more girly.
